Friday, October 15, 2021 - No notes taken. This again had everything you expect from the Frog: very high complexity, ever changing aroma profile, the strong black olive notes and a fine structural frame. With 16 years of age, this has shed most of its baby fat and is no longer an overly broad and intense monster. For a higher score it would have needed a clearly higher precision and a tad more length. Still, definitely an amazing wine.
Decanting: PnP and then decanted and followed over an hour+. Didn‘t need much air. It‘s great to follow the wine through the different stages.
