Monday, April 24, 2023 - This is still quite youthful with superb grippy intensity to go along with the ripe dark red fruit. A voluminous wine with good acidity and verve along with firm but opulent tannins. A classic iron fist in a velvet gove and I love this for mid-term aging. This is a Chateau I've avoided in the past but not anymore. Shows best now with 3-hour decant and a charred steak. 93+
