Friday, October 22, 2021 - Wine Spectator 40th Anniversary; 10/21/2021-10/23/2021 (Marriott Marquis): Sharper notes. There's tar and balsamic and more traditional style of barolo. Less of the fruit and floral to it. Still quite young so perhaps with some more time. Very interesting story though of Gaja building a business over many generations.
