Saturday, April 9, 2005 - Consumed during a tasting menu at Bona Terra, Sharpsburg, PA. On the nose, honeysuckle in full bloom. Pale gold in the glass. On the palate, equal parts of honeysuckle and smoke, with a silkiness on the palate reminiscent of a top-notch Sauternes, if not quite as unctuous. This white is well suited for just about any seafood course, and I can't imagine it getting any better than it is right now. Drink up...
