Thursday, July 4, 2013 - 4 hour decant. The nose is expressive with tons of black and dusty red fruit, a hint of cedar - it's creamy and inviting. Great mouthfeel is my immediate impression, with just enough acidity, and resolved tannins. The profile on the palate leans towards the dark fruits, with plenty of spices, a touch of oak and alcohol poke through. Impressive stuff here.
