Tuesday, October 7, 2008 - Popped and poured for my parent's double birthday celebration. Youthful, medium to dark purple hue. Big nose right out of the gate, featuring mountain blackberry, spicy oak, fresh cedar, currant & cassis. Medium bodied......and surprisingly elegant.........with blackberry, loganberry, cassis, vanilla bean, dried black fruits, and a touch of freshly picked herbs on the palate. Plus finish, even at this young stage. Excellent Pride Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, very refined and finesse driven when compared to recent vintages. Best since 2002.
