Thursday, May 5, 2005 - On the nose, hints of cherries and a touch of nutmeg. In the glass, clear faded red, with hints of garnet at the rim. However, on the palate, it's tart cherries and raspberries, with muted fruit and little in the way of a finish. It's drinkable, and it's better with food, but I was hoping for quite a bit more, as I've had better luck with previous Byron pinots.
