Friday, July 9, 2010 - Pretty remarkable bottle of wine. A bit of a monster, with rich, blueberry pie tones. Full, luscious mouth feel. Great acididty keeping this fresh on the finish. Really no heat of alcohol notes despite something like 16+% alcohol. In fact, the sensation is of cool fruit. Very fresh. I don't think I'd bother holding this, but it is amazingly delicious. I don't know how Noon does it, as no other high octane Aussie wine I've had has the cool tendencies and lack of heat that I get from the Noon wines. Not for everyone, but should be tried. 93-94
