Friday, April 14, 2023 - Colour: light straw, green tinge, bright, clear
Nose: v full, fresh although a touch musky, petrol dominates.
Taste: light body, v ripe, rounded, leads with good fruit than citrus, some petrol, v dry and good acidity, med finish, citrus, v dry.
Overall, very enjoyable. This develops beautifully into an intense combination of ripe fruit and citrus with an intriguing dose of petrol. Compared with Tim Smith Riesling 2021, a Salomon Undhof Kögl Riesling 2021 and a Bassermann Jordan Ungeheuer 2021. No clear winner. All good.
