The nose shows some mineral but also like a more diesel sense like more aromatic varieties can. IOW, I would be hard pressed to guess Chablis blind. It's a very good wine but shows far afield from the other vineyards. At least in this vintage. It also could be this is in a funky phase and wants a bit more sleep. it has been in bottle for almost four years now. It's quite fresh and not showing age. I'm not sure where to go with it. At least right now it's not what I'm looking for in a Chablis but it's a very nice wine. It obviously won't hurt to leave it alone a couple more years and see whether it just is what it is or if it's going to blossom into another phase of life.
