Thursday, June 17, 2021 - Nice French oak on the nose, blueberry, tobacco, with subtle spices - sage, bay leaf. Initially dry with moderate tannins after 15 mins of air, but the wine opened up and smoothed considerably by 1 hour. Dark fruit, tobacco, and earth on the palate with a hint of vanilla. Lingering finish with mild spices. Drink now.
