Tuesday, May 11, 2021 - Malconsorts theme'd session, double-blind... Decanted into a Voss-btl for ~4+hrs prior to serving. Scents of dark-fruits with tinge of spice wafted from the glass. Almost majestic & aristocratic on the palate, with the intensity & weight/stuffing taking center-stage. Satiny & velvety, this glided effortlessly across the palate with a nice freshness to it, culminating in a long finish. Still, this was more muscular than beauty at this juncture, and can't wait to taste this again with more age!

I’ve been disappointed with de Montille’s Christiane hence thinking about buying the Dujac ‘16 which you have drank. Best Malconsorts I’ve had recently is Lamarche’s ‘05 but impossible to find. Cheers!
