Thursday, March 14, 2024 - One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Lovely black fruit aromas came forth during decant. Wine was clear; garnet from bowl to rim with no bricking. After resting, nose of black fruit, cocoa and earth. In the mouth: deep fruit with tannins on the way out and a touch of bitterness on the medium-long finish. This wine seemed better than when I had it on 8-26-2020 hence the higher score. But for the bitterness in the finish, I would have rated it even higher.
