Saturday, February 3, 2024 - Good cork pull and no infiltration, good heady bouquet right from the start. Medium burgundy. Classic Russian River. Cherry but not heavy, and darker fruit. But great soil. Slightly numbing but not due to mint, it's the RR profile. Very nice. Very much ready now. hard to see it getting better. Something I like so very much about RR pinot, and compared to other producers RR, Kosta has the most distinctive taste. And it's all here.
