Tuesday, August 27, 2019 - I used to be very down on Chardonnay from California. Over the past several years, I have begun to change my mind and today, I think wines from Marcassin, Aubert and Littorai are among the best in the world. While Littorai may not get the attention of the other two producers, I find their wines to be in the same class. This bottle has a light gold color. The nose has lemon curd, nectarine and a mild spice element. The palate is layered yet precise. Excellent depth and palate presence. A fine effort for their regional bottling. Should age well for 5 to 7 years. (92)
