Sunday, November 12, 2023 - Still trying to have a value for money feeling about this wine. Decanted for a full day. The wine shows well but fails to impress. Like a decent Cru bourgeois or a powerfull haut medoc from a great vintage, this 5th cru Classé from Pauillac in an average millésime is far from its 100€ purchase Price. I undetstand.great.vintage have high price but average vintage should be at a reasonable price! The cru owners should market their wines differently if they want to survive in this challenging environment

I’m not planning to touch these until at least 2030 or preferably even 2035, but thanks for the tasting note and confirming this for me.
