Still trying to have a value for money feeling about this wine. Decanted for a full day. The wine shows well but fails to impress. Like a decent Cru bourgeois or a powerfull haut medoc from a great vintage, this 5th cru Classé from Pauillac in an average millésime is far from its 100€ purchase Price. I undetstand.great.vintage have high price but average vintage should be at a reasonable price! The cru owners should market their wines differently if they want to survive in this challenging environment

Well isn't this a dynamite nose. And sublime palate. And super long finish. Absolutely outstanding.
