Friday, June 1, 2007 - A Bevy of 2005 Beaujolais: Medium dark ruby. Nose leans to strong black cherry tones, but develops a nice floral overlay. Good concentration of black fruits, but the acidity here is too tart and gives the wine an astringent, thin mouth feel that just does not support the fruit.
