Thursday, August 9, 2007 - Popped and poured as a pre-dinner drink...On the nose I picked up some gentle red fruit, maybe strawberry, maybe some cherry. This wine tastes like a "baby Burgundy", soft smooth and elegant...still a little closed (maybe due to just popping and pouring), can taste soft red fruit with just a hint of some interesting pepper or spice...good amount of acidity and a nice smooth finish...I think this will even taste better after a little more aging (and or aerating) At the price I would definitely buy more and will hold for a little bit....
