There are wines, plenty of ‘me, that are more complex, more profound, more weighty, etc. But do I want anything more from a 14 year-old Fleurie than what is in this bottle? Hell no. There’s soft red fruit, some florals, velvety palate presence. Just great stuff that continues to drink beautifully and seems in no danger of decline anytime soon.
