Saturday, June 13, 2020 - Tasted blind. Lots of pear fruit, over time adding citric angles and green banana. Overall a great intensity nose also showing peppery aromas. Fresh acidity with a more citric fruit profile on the palate, nice and round. Just hints of salty minerality. Finely knit, nicely layered texture. I liked this a lot and no doubt bottle age will help. But at this juncture no match for the outstanding Chave Hermitage 2017.
