Tuesday, December 6, 2022 - Wine Workshop: Clos du Mesnil vertical (Atera - 77 Worth Street in NYC): Enter the rockstar. I mean we knew it would be and unlike with the '96 where I thought the hype was maybe a bit overdone this lived up to all that I was hoping for and more. It's a unicorn wine. Truly beautiful. All fresh and minerals and apples and evolving in the glass and maybe a hint of honey or caramel and then maybe a little touch of the herbs. Pure class. Special for sure.
