Sunday, January 17, 2010 - Best Pride cabernet I've had in quite some time. Opened about 30 to 45 minutes before drinking. Primary impression on the nose was cherry pie. Tart cherry on the palate, with a somewhat surprising lack of vanilla, chocolate, or coffee. A little one-dimensional, but what a dimension! Mouth-filling fruit and an intense finish. Acids and tannins cut through the richness of grilled beef tenderloin. Great with food. Should continue to age gracefully for several years.
