Thursday, January 27, 2022 - Two hour decant. Deep dark ruby rim, with an opaque black core (known as “bull’s blood” at Addax). Rose petals, blackberry compote, black cherry, fennel, store bought pie crust, and subtle amaretto on the rich, complex nose. Dry, satiny palate, with tongue coating, pixelated acidity. Firm, full tannins on the long finish.
