Tuesday, February 17, 2015 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and small bubbles.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of yeast (bread, cereal and hints of walnuts), green fruit (green apple), citrus (lemon peel) and hints of stone fruit (fresh apricot).

The wine is off-dry with a medium(+) acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium body with a creamy mousse. It has medium intensity flavours of yeast (bread, cereal and hints of walnuts), green fruit (green apple), citrus (lemon peel) and hints of stone fruit (fresh apricot). The finish is medium(+).

It is a very good quality wine. It has a persistent finish and a fresh acidity that balances its creamy mousse. It also shows some complexity provided by autolytic notes, but a better example would be even more complex.

Can drink now, but it has enough acidity and some flavour concentration to develop more complex tertiary aromas 3-5 years after disgorgement.
