Thursday, November 20, 2014 - An evening through the Loire valley (Imperial Treasure SPD, Paragon): This was served blind in the first flight along with the Buisson. A bit closed when poured; Nose wasn't giving much at all, just a very slight tinge of tropical fruits. Palate was equally tight, but one can certainly identify with the minerality and freshness. Did we have this too young? Am new to Loire wines - not sure what was the vintage condition there in 2005? But a 06 Silex that we had recently was showing much better than this...
