Tuesday, May 3, 2022 - This is just incredibly good at the moment. Still clear straw color with an intense green, brilliant streak. The nose is at first dominated by vanilla and coco - almost a bit "new world" - but these notes wane after some time in the glass, giving room for more classic aromas of green apples, lime, and that chalky feeling. Full bodied attack, lots of lime, lemon, green apples, but also some hints of vanilla and coco that I do not remember from earlier tasting of this wine. Very fine balance between sweet fruit and acidity, and a fine chalky, almost dusty finish, somewhat drying out. The aftertaste could have been much better with less oak because the fruit and the balance in this wine is so good in itself. A wine for white fish with a butter sauce. Perfectly mature now, but will keep for many years although I fear that the oak-tones will get more present over time. So; enjoy now if you have any bottles left.
