Monday, November 28, 2022 - Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): This is the winner of the tasting and I think if you had blinded us it would not have mattered because there is a tastiness and a power and structure to it that is just compelling. Lots of sandy and limestone soil. This was once upon a time a cannubi vineyard but the grandfather showed what family means (same grandfather who made sure when dolcetto was sellable that he was focused on barolo). Sometimes it is just not about money.
