Thursday, February 24, 2022 - Based on recent negative reviews I had to open my first bottle. The initial sniff suggested the wine was not flawed. Tasting said the same. Indeed it is a wonderful wine. Still only in the earliest stage of maturity. Very tight nose and taste at first. Some opening came while in the glass. Much still to develop. Very similar experience with "lesser" 2005's very slow getting to the beginning of maturity.
