Tuesday, March 8, 2022 - PnP'ed during a dinner. Perhaps a mistake not having decanted it much earlier. Compared to a previous bottle (which had been decanted) I brought, this was much more primary, somewhat closed/clamped up. There was still some florals on the nose, but one had to really encourage its showing by repetitive swirling of our glasses. Dark-fruited on the palate, this also showed some "wood" spice, a sign that it required more ageing & integration. A colleague who had the Comando-G the evening before also commented that it was the more preferred wine compared to the Cailles...
