90 Points

Saturday, August 29, 2020 - Decent burgundy at this young age, but for the money, not worth it. This was tasted side by side with the 2016 Kistler Russian River Piniot at a dinner, and everybody preferred the cheaper Kistler. The acidity is very high, but the minerality and earthiness is minimal. This reminds me more of a Oregon pinot than an old world Burgundy. I would not spend this much money (around $80 USD/bottle) for this wine. Maybe $40-50 at the very most, but even that is pushing it.
