Tuesday, October 26, 2021 - La Tâche Vertical (Le Pavillon): On the nose both 2010 and 2009 are more expressive, although this still has beautiful bright red fruit. Actually showing a little bit of development. This excels on the palate with big, complete structure, powerful. Less ready than ’09 or ’10 in the same flight but is every bit as powerful and is technically stronger than ’09 but maybe not ’10. Each of the wines in this flight have terrific staying power and long flavourful finish.
