Friday, October 11, 2019 - While still young, this wine drinks well & shows excellent cellar potential.

Slightly chilled & a 30-minute decant, begins a generous spicy & herbal nose with a solid core of red 'cherry pie' fruit. Oak, nutmeg & vanilla follow...yum.

Considerable tannin today - leaves a bitterness on the finish...but this will likely subside with some sleep. However, the herbals run long & strong here.

If you are having savory stuffing with your turkey...this one will pair nicely.
