While still young, this wine drinks well & shows excellent cellar potential.
Slightly chilled & a 30-minute decant, begins a generous spicy & herbal nose with a solid core of red 'cherry pie' fruit. Oak, nutmeg & vanilla follow...yum.
Considerable tannin today - leaves a bitterness on the finish...but this will likely subside with some sleep. However, the herbals run long & strong here.
If you are having savory stuffing with your turkey...this one will pair nicely.

2017 provided ideal growing conditions. An expressive combination of bright juicy red berry fruits, violets, cloves and savoury dried herbs. Medium in body with a beautiful balance of fruit and acidity, polished tannins and a lingering finish. Pair with roasted squash risotto, seared venison or braised pork with wild rice and roasted root vegetables. Serve at 15C.
From winery listing.

Friday…my 2nd favorite F-word. Time for a solid wine…
This PN is becoming sophisticated - clean & focused, without leaning too far towards the New World realm.
With a little time in the glass, notes of cherry, bramble & leather develop along with elegant dried herbal notes.
Juicy with terrific length.
