Thursday, October 12, 2023 - Enjoyed with some antipasto fire pit side. Even though the alcohol is low at 13% and the age so far, I find it hard to believe a well kept bottle is in the downside of the drinking window here. Very young and bright, bright fruits- tart cherries, pomegranate, raspberry. Smooth transition to a 20ish second finish in the mouth where the oak starts to peak through with some currants. Acid level is slightly more that I would hope for, and the blend might have been helped by slightly more merlot, but that is nit picking.
Not a real long life ahead but easily 5 more years if it lasts. The price point in mid $20s is very accommodating.
