Friday, June 6, 2014 - Pre-concert dinner at the Duke of Cambridge, Tilford - Tilford Bach Festival.
Hottest day of the year, this bubbly hit the right spot being both light and refreshing as an aperitif but with enough wild strawberry fruit and acidity to carry it through into the meal, crayfish and pork belly in my case. Simple but excellent value all purpose champagne - bonus point applied.
Buy to drink - not to cellar.
