Couldn't be disappointed more but may be one-off bottle to give it a benefit of doubt based on 91+ rating on this board. Decanted for 1 Hr before first glass. Underwhelming nose, medium to full body on palate without any prominent fruit or flavor component from the barrel, and mouth-drying racy tannins on finish. Nothing ever came together over next 3 hours. May be this requires few years of bottle aging but not sure where the wine will find its fruit and flavors from, just not in the juice from what I can sense. If you love layered, aromatic complexity of California or Washington Cabs only slightly above the price range of this wine, skip this one.
