Sunday, August 21, 2016 - Last of three bottles tried over time. A bottle I tried few years ago had a cork that crumbled badly, and I had no high hopes for this bottle, thinking it was a risk to ty and probably faded. Was I ever wrong. It turned out to be one of the best wines I've had this year. Cork pulled solid, no infiltration, and stained inky black. Fruity bouquet upon opening. Smooth, fruit flavored but not excessive, no rough edges, tannins well integrated, wonderfully balanced, exceptionally well drinking wine. Aged for 13 years. When I buy a wine I think can aged and improve, this is what I want to experience when I finally open and enjoy. Tannins well developed and still a bit left but not intrusive. Last glass threw some sediment. Recommended.
