Wednesday, June 23, 2010 - What a great bottle from Pegau's 2006 vintage. This is Pegau in its soft, approachable style, with loads of licorice and tobacco on the nose, wild raspberry flavors and aromas and something sauvage in the background. Drinkable (very drinkable) now but sure to evolve for a decade in fascinating ways. The score doesn't really do it justice because somehow scores can miss the basic hedonistic pleasure factor.
