Friday, June 16, 2023 - One hour double decant. Deep ruby color, with a rusty rim. Pomegranate, leather, green apple, marigold, and subtle baker’s chocolate. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Full, silky tannins on the longish finish.
This is good, but really needed food to shine. It’s a bit austere at the outset.
