Wednesday, January 31, 2024 - Deep dark reddish-purple garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty, floral notes of violets & herbal notes, spices, leather, coffee, minerals, cocoa, graphite & a touch of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with herbs, minerals, spices & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but will develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot & 2% Cabernet Franc.
