  • Super lovely dark fruit, black cherry. Surprisingly ready to drink now; it's more ready than the 2016 vintage is currently.

  • Deep dark reddish-purple garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty, floral notes of violets & herbal notes, spices, leather, coffee, minerals, cocoa, graphite & a touch of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with herbs, minerals, spices & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but will develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot & 2% Cabernet Franc.

  • Decanted a portion with spin and then let it open a couple hours. Vacuvin’d the rest and did same on day 2 and 3. Deep ruby and purple color. Hint of cedar, blackberry, cherry on the nose. Blackberry, dark cherry, a little plum on the palate with about 35 sec finish. It has improved with age but has a lot more room to improve (91.5 imo currently so rounded up). Out of bottles but I can see this doing great after a few more years of aging and developing tertiary notes.

  • Dense and almost purple in color, long legs. Aromatic nose, both fleshy and elegant. Dense red and black fruits, leather and a minerality almost reminiscent of ox blood. Slight green hints behind. Medium bodied palate, very well balanced with great structure and long finish. Fully drinkable now with good aeration, but should easily last 10+ years.

  • Just a bit more time in the bottle has really helped this wine develop. Flowers, tobacco, forest floor, and sweet, plums and currants show in the nose. On the palate, the wine is sweet, fresh, medium-bodied, and fruity with nice sweetness on the mid-palate and in the finish. The wine blends 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. 13.1% ABV. Drink from 2023-3035.
