Simple and straightforward, we drank with a sautéed tomato and pasta dish and it did its job on a Wednesday night. Reminds me a bit of a vino della casa Barbera we drank a few years ago on a perfect night in La Morra at a restaurant that became a favorite for a couple weeks. Good flavors, lively acidity, smooth and pleasing. Not one for the cellar.
