Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Gasthof schupfen in diessenhofen, my favourite local place, recommended by guide Michelin and I have never been disappointed. As it s my bday time for a favourite. Medium ruby color. Mint, milk chocolate, dried cherries, roses, Mediterranean herbs, olives, lots of things on the nose. Med+ acidity, high alcohol (14.5), full body, med flavor intensity, med tannins and med finish. Medicinal herbs, dried cherries, nice salinity, acidity is still high. Excellent already, but still very young so definitely can use a couple of hours of decanting.
