Sunday, September 5, 2021 - Tasty, balanced, more than simple fruit. Black currant, ancho chile, olive, and tobacco aromas, kind of a quintessential Cab Franc/Merlot profile, as Carmenere should be. Silky, savory on the palate, round, long finish of dark fruit and olive. Oak integrated/in balance. Bold but not over the top.

Drink for the excellent balance and Bordeaux variety expression, though shouldn't fall apart in the near term.
