  Tasty, balanced, more than simple fruit. Black currant, ancho chile, olive, and tobacco aromas, kind of a quintessential Cab Franc/Merlot profile, as Carmenere should be. Silky, savory on the palate, round, long finish of dark fruit and olive. Oak integrated/in balance. Bold but not over the top.
  
  Drink for the excellent balance and Bordeaux variety expression, though shouldn't fall apart in the near term.

  Interesting blend of Carmenere (75%) and Merlot (25%) from the Veneto. Dark berries, cocoa and black pepper aromas. Spicy pallet with big red and black fruit. Hint of soy sauce. Lots of firm tannins and length on the finish. Bold and interesting.
