This was a good but not great d'Yquem as many have noted. Orange, overt spice, burnt caramel, apricot, wood. The palate is medium full body, has glycerin but not as round, toasted shaved coconut, honey, oodles of botrytis spice but to the extreme to an extent; moderate fruit, orange, spicy, candied apricot, medium finish that is not the typical elegance. 91+ to 92pts.
