Tuesday, January 11, 2022 - An “N” bottle. Definitely shows the warm vintage, and that’s not a great thing. Ripe fruit that comes as the expense of tension and more-ishness. Still, the granitic stoniness and mild funkiness are appealing, and there’s a certain elegance that perhaps will win out over the ripeness after a few years. Enjoyable, but perhaps not up to Lapierre standards for now.
