Thursday, June 25, 2015 - Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Cellar Visit and Tasting (Vosne-Romanée): Tasted blind at the domaine. Honeyed and slightly caramelized with baked apple, fresh apple. Fruit centric start, leaner in the middle, then finishing with modest spice and good textures. I thought this certainly older, as did all other tasters this morning. While I've never had this wine before from this vintage, I'm wondering if this was an imperfect bottle.
