Saturday, February 26, 2022 - Pop'n'pour. Loads of pepper, sage and black raspberry, good nose on this off the bat. Full bodied yet fresh dark fruit, with a seam of fresh herbs. Significant tannins on the back end. Oak is not noticeable, 14.5% ABV not prominent.

Really a lot going on for ~$20 bottle, native yeast fermented, unfined/unfiltered, old vines, from vineyards at 1500-2000 feet elevation. Should be excellent in the mid-term.

Edit: Day 2, stored remainder overnight in swing top bottle at fridge temp. Going strong, consistent with previous notes, loving the 'garrigue' notes in this, like a Cotes du Rhone with a somewhat cool edge.
